Country singer/songwriter Lari White, 52, died this morning (Jan. 23) after battling peritoneal cancer.
Lari revealed her diagnosis in November 2017 via a letter penned on artistworks.com.
Lari had a string of Top 10 hits in the mid-1990s, including “That’s My Baby,” “Now I Know” and “That’s How You Know (When You’re in Love).” Lari also contributed to three projects that won Grammy Awards for Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Albums. In addition to her country music career, Lari appeared in several movies, including Cast Away and Country Strong.
Lari is survived by husband Chuck Cannon, three children M’Kenzy, Kyra Ciel and Jaxon, parents Larry and Yvonne White, sister Natasha and brother Torne.
